This course will be of benefit to those who are working in a corporate advisory role or wishing to gain an understanding of what is involved in due diligence.
Overview
This one-day course is designed to provide an understanding of the nature and scope of a due diligence investigation. Practical advice is given on the due diligence process and on the techniques and procedures that are followed for both public and private M&A; transactions as well as capital raisings.The roles of the various professional advisers will be examined as well as common problems that can arise when due diligence was insufficient. No previous due diligence experience is required, but a familiarity with financial statements is assumed. If this is not the case, prior attendance on either our Company Accounts - Introduction or Analysis of Financial Statements Part 1 is recommended.
