This course will be of benefit to those who have either attended our three-day Analysis of Financial Statements - Part 1 course, or who have an existing knowledge of financial statements of corporates and wish to cover more complex accounting and analysis areas. Those wishing to attend our Contemporary Equity Analysis course will also find this course content an essential prerequisite.

Overview

This two-day course builds on Part 1 and gives an understanding of more complex accounting areas and how the accounting process can impact on the assessment of corporate performance and position. You will be able to identify specific risk factors to which companies are subjected and to identify and locate information contained in the financial statements that will assist with the analysis process. An understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, cash flow and accounting ratios is presumed, along with basic analytical skills.
