This course is essential for those who are involved in the preparation and audit of small company financial statements.

Course content

This course deals with issues relating to small companies and small groups. In particular, it looks at the transition from the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2020) to the revised version of FRS 102 (Section 1A) applicable to small companies for accounting periods commencing on or after 1 January 2020.

It also considers the micro-entity option and the new standard FRS 105, issued July 2020.
