The Solicitors Regulation Authority

BPP has been accredited as an examining body for the QLTT since 1997.

The QLTT Test Specification, issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in July 2007, applies to all QLTT providers.

In order to sit the QLTT, you must first obtain a Certificate of Eligibility from the SRA. You should apply for your Certificate as soon as possible as it may take up to 12 weeks to process. Currently, the SRA is experiencing a delay in processing applications and candidates are advised to contact the SRA directly by email: cau@sra.org.uk or by telephone: 0870 606 2555 (or +44 1527 504450 if calling from overseas).

All enquiries regarding your certificate should be directed to the SRA:

If you have now completed the QLTT, please contact the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to obtain an AD1 form for Admission to the Roll of Solicitors.  Please note that the SRA will also require you to obtain a standard disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) prior to your admission.
