CPI - Registration

CPI Eligibility

Entry to the CPI exam is open to any person. It is no longer required to have a year's insolvency experience.

CPIFurther details of this together with prices can be found at the IPA website www.insolvency-practitioners.org.uk.

CPI Enrolment

To enrol for the CPI exam, you must contact the Insolvency Practitioners Association (telephone 020 7623 5108).

It is your responsibility to enrol with the IPA and pay the exam fee - this is not included in the BPP course fees.

Upon successful completion of the CPI exam, you can apply for affiliate membership of the IPA to become an insolvency technician.

Passing the CPI exam will not gain you any exemption to the JIE, however it is often seen as a useful 'stepping stone' and will give excellent background preparation.
